ZhanXi River Pier - Ningbo, China
The ZhanXi River pier is TAY's first project in Ningbo China. The building which was built at the foot of the Buddha’s head Mt (the mountain has stones like head) is the starting point of The ZhanXi river drifting. This is a resting place that provides food and beverage and the surrounding tourist information to passengers. This area has been designated as protected areas of Pterocarya stenoptera forest, it is a natural environment rich place that was located upstream of the river that flows through the Ningbo City from SIMING Mt. The building exterior wall is used Meiyuan stone of the local. The volume of construction is cantilevered over the river. When typhoons coming every year, the water level of the river reaches up to more than the height of the bridge, and reaches the lower end of the building.
